You Are Invited to the CLASSROOM OF THE FUTURE INDABA at the Cape Town Science Centre, on 24 & 25 March 2017.
There is no charge for teachers to attend – Yes! It is all free – MAHALA at this INDABA. Teachers are invited from all grades and from all schools in the Western Cape.
What is this event all about?
Embracing technology is no longer seen as a nice to have, but a necessity. Empowering teachers and students in the classroom, applying technology in new ways enables behavioural shift and inspires improved learning outcomes.
Leaders in educational technology, Microsoft along with other organisations, will be on hand to present their technologies (hardware and software) via workshops, presentations, and demonstrations for all teachers.
Join us and be inspired. Not only inspired, but come to better understand how technology can work for you in your classroom.
Celebration…
This is also a celebration of the new exhibition in the Cape Town Science Centre, our very own Classroom of the Future – This immersive experience aims to provide visitors/ participants with a futuristic view of the classroom – one that allows for creation and collaboration, that enables exploration, assists with the accommodation of any learning style while focusing on student based learning outcomes… please celebrate with us!

Teachers will receive goody bags, have an opportunity to win excellent prizes and most important an opportunity to learn from experts and each other in a relaxed environment.

14:30 to 16:00 Rotational Workshops of 25 minutes each, allowing each teacher to attend a workshop on Minecraft, Office 365 and be introduced to the Classroom of the Future in the CTSC
