By car

From City Centre
Take Nelson Mandela Boulevard (to N2), take Browning Road exit and turn right onto Main Road, the Cape Town Science Centre will be on your right after 300m.

From N2
Take the M4 (Main Road) off ramp, turn right into Main Road, the Cape Town Science Centre will be on your left after 1km.

From N1
Take the M5 south towards Muizenberg. Take exit 9B to merge onto Settlers Way/N2 toward Cape Town. Take the M4 (Main Road) off ramp, turn right into Main Road, the Cape Town Science Centre will be on your left after 1km.

From Southern Suburbs
Take M3 (De Waal Drive) towards Cape Town. Take the Anzio Road (Groote Schuur) exit, turn right into Anzio Road and left into Main Road. The Cape Town Science Centre will be on your left after 400m.

Parking

Free parking is available at the front entrance of the building to visitors to the centre.

pillover parking with access through the back gate is available in the side road – please note that there is no direct access from the Main Road.

Drive up Groote Schuur Drive, turn right at the stop into Falmouth Road and right again into the CTSC side road.

By bus

Golden Arrow buses from most areas stop in Main Road right in front of the CTSC. View timetables and routes here.

The closest MyCiti bus stop is the Upper Salt River stop on the 102 Salt River Rail route, 1.3km from the CTSC. From the Upper Salt River stop, head back up Salt River Road and turn left onto Victoria road. The CTSC is about 900m from here on your right.

By train

The Observatory train station is located 900m from the CTSC. Walk up Station Road to Main Road. Cross Main Road at the robot and turn right. The CTSC is 150m down the road on your left.
