WINTER SCIENCE CAMP – Science that changed the World! – FULLY BOOKED
There are many things in our daily lives that we use and don’t even realise that science principles were used to make them a reality… wheel, the nail, the compass, the printing press, the telephone, the computer, the light bulb, penicillin, the internet just to mention a few… Imagine life without them… We will explore how the inventors came to these solutions and put the principles they used to the test… Campers can look forward to: Daily workshops & activities, dedicated Science Buddies, a Science Camp 2017 T-shirt, new friends and of course loads of science fun!

Time: 9:30 – 13:00 (children can be dropped off from 9:00)

Create, explore and put your problem-solving skills to the test, with step by step instructions construct your own village complete with a thriving population, housing, machinery, food production and much more. Then use the Redstone feature to brighten up your experience. Many schools – even universities – are adopting the Minecraft platform to help with reading, writing, maths and science. There has never been a better time to develop your STEM skills (science, technology, engineering and maths) through coding and game design.
