
Step into the fascinating world of Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) through a collection of fun, hands-on workshops and interactive demonstrations. Discover the creativity and wisdom behind traditional beadwork, Khoisan rock art, paper bag weaving, rope weaving, traditional musical instruments and anklet shakers. Participants will have the opportunity to create, weave, shake, listen and explore while learning how traditional knowledge, skills, art, music and natural materials have been passed down through generations. Come celebrate culture, creativity, storytelling and traditional skills in an exciting programme where there is something for everyone to enjoy.
