Step into the fascinating world ofย Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS)ย through a collection of fun, hands-onย workshopsย and interactive demonstrations.ย Discover the creativity and wisdom behindย traditional beadwork, Khoisan rock art, paper bag weaving, rope weaving, traditional musicalย instrumentsย and anklet shakers. Participants will have the opportunity to create, weave, shake, listen and explore while learning how traditional knowledge, skills, art,ย musicย and natural materials have been passed down through generations. Come celebrateย culture, creativity,ย storytellingย and traditional skillsย in an excitingย programmeย where there is something for everyone to enjoy.
