HERITAGE TALK: Basotho Blankets – Steven Sack and Ras Silas Motse
Come to an interactive talk that will thread together a story of how computational methods applied to the making of blankets 200 years ago. Like coding or robotics, these designs use repeating patterns and structure. Small elements combine to create something complex and meaningful. Just as these blankets weave stories from threads, coding and robotics weave solutions from logic and creativity.

WORKSHOP: TurtleStitch | Ages 7 – 17
TurtleStitch is coded embroidery, making a pattern on material with math and block based code.

WORKSHOP: Basotho Blanket Scratch Studio | Age 7 – 17
Basotho Blanket Scratch is pixel art symmetrical patterns like the jacquard loom with block based code.

Mechanical Sound Installation Experience with Brendon Bussy & The Crank Collective | Age 8+
