VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY for South African Science, Engineering and Technology Graduates
Are you looking to learn valuable skills while giving back to the community? The Cape Town Science Centre is inviting unemployed Science, Engineering and Technology graduates (ages 18 -35) to apply to volunteer their services as part of the Department of Science and Innovation’s National Youth Service Programme.
The volunteer programme runs for 12 months. Volunteers will receive a monthly stipend at the following scale, as stipulated by the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA):
National Diploma – R4,500
Bachelors Degree/BTech – R5,000
Honours – R5,500
Masters – R6,500
PhD – R7,700
Required documentation: CV, qualification, matric certificate, ID and cover letter.
