Kick off 2022 at the Cape Town Science Centre!

We’re keeping the SUMMER VIBES going in the New Year with a super cool holiday programme that is sure to keep you edutained and any looming back-to-school blues away! Join us from 3 – 18 January 2022 (excluding Sundays).

Our jam-packed programme features hands-on workshops, Science Corner demonstrations, a themed science show, as well as regular activities such as the Camera Obscura Tours and  the AstroTrek Virtual Reality and Light Room exhibition. Don’t miss the Magic Waterproof Sand Zone 🙂

OPENING HOURS:

9:00 to 16:30 (Monday to Saturday*)
*Please note that the CTSC is closed on Sundays.

ENTRY FEES:

Youth & Adults – R80
Pensioner – R40 (only available onsite)
To reserve a ticket for one of the sessions please visit Webtickets and select the session you would like to attend. Tickets will be available for onsite purchase each day. We encourage contactless payments, card and SnapScan transactions are welcome.

Let’s Code! Holiday Club

Build your own webpage exploring web design with HTML5, CSS and JAVA script. This easy-to-follow coding club will nurture 21st century skills in a relaxed and creative environment. Become a creator rather than just a user of technology and join the Cape Town Science Centre’s Let’s Code Holiday Club! 12-hours of coding fun over a 4-day period and the opportunity to explore the rest of the Cape Town Science Centre’s offerings.

CLUB DETAILS:

Dates: 3 – 6 Jan 2022 (10:00 – 13:00) OR 10 – 13 Jan 2022 (10:00 – 13:00)
Age: Suitable for ages 10+
Cost: R600 (non-members) & R400 (members)

In order to observe and maintain all Covid-19 protocols, your visit to the CTSC will be different to your usual experience but just as much edutainment (education + fun)!
