Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day is observed annually in February and is organized by Insafe/INHOPE network of European Safer Internet Centres (SICs) in collaboration with the European Commission.

The 8th February 2022 marks the 19th edition of this initiative, with the theme “Together for a better internet” to promote a more responsible use of online technology by children and young people across the world. From online privacy and protection, to cyberbullying, digital rights and literacy, SID is an important event in the online safety calendar where millions of people come together on this day to raise awareness and discuss emerging online issues and current concerns.
