Microsoft Small Basics – Text-based coding

You may be wondering why your kids should learn to code? Coding is a fun way for your child to express their imagination, creativity, and logical thinking all at once! When they learn to code, they develop various skills, such as how to break down complex problems and solve them step by step, among others

If your child has done block-based coding before (e.g. Scratch), this course will help your child transition to text-based coding using Small Basic.

Small Basic combines a friendly environment with a very simple language and a rich and engaging set of libraries to make programs and games pop! Small Basic gives children the skills and confidence to tackle more complex programming languages such as Java and C#. In a matter of a few lines of code, your child will be well on their way to creating their very own game!

Please note: We are offering a BEGINNER and an INTERMEDIATE Small Basic course!
