The Cape Town Science Centre is ‘pausing’ visits to the centre for the moment!

The GOOD NEWS is that we are offering our famous Holiday Programme VIRTUALLY! Keep an eye out on our social media posts for details and dates of online activities to keep busy minds engaged and entertained during the school holidays.

The Cape Town Science Centre (CTSC) is a Non-Profit Organisation. While we have not been able to open our doors consistently during the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been very active is providing resources, online lessons and workshops and as many interventions as possible to continue to deliver on our Mission*, If you would like to support our work, donations** are most welcome at this time. For further discussion on ways to partner with the CTSC, please call our Director directly on +27 83 276 9501. Once-off donations can be made using the SnapScan code provided below.

* To make a hands-on contribution to Africa’s future by strengthening its science and technology culture through interactive methods of teaching: to excite the youth and general public about science and technology, and offer educational services to learners and educators across Africa.

** Donations to the CTSC are tax deductible. The CTSC is registered with SARS as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 18/11/13/2663), donations made to CTSC can be claimed as a qualifying deduction on your 2021/2022 income tax return. Please email us at admin@ctsc.org.za to request a Section 18A certificate on your income tax return. As you may be aware, you are allowed to reduce your tax liability by donating up to 10% of your annual taxable income.
