First Explorers Zone
Daily @ 10:30, 12:30 & 14:30 ● Ages 2 – 6 ● Cost: R10 per child
A fun and interactive area which will stimulate gross motor skills, hand and eye coordination, skill building and teamwork. Sports Hall – Tinkering & Tournaments
Daily @ 11:30 & 13:30 ● Ages 7+ ● Cost: R10
Test your creativity and dexterity in this tinkering meets sports tournament workshop. These hands-on practical workshops will challenge both brain and body. The Busketeers
Daily @ 10:30 & 15:30 ● Age 6+
Do you fancy yourself a budding scientists? Come and test your skills with our Busketeers. Explore simple science in profound ways. Witness natural phenomena with simple and exciting demonstrations. Remember first-come-first served. See programme for dates and times.

Camera Obscura
Have you ever taken a tour of the city while standing on one spot? Join us on one of our Camera Obscura tours for a 360° view of the surrounding area. Listen out for announcements to join the tour. Please note that this activity is weather dependant.

Spectacular Sports Science Show
Daily @ 12:30 & 14:30
Have you ever wondered how soccer players like Beckham and Ronaldo are able to bend the ball? Come and explore the spectacular science behind this and other sports. Witness a gravity defying wheel, test which gender makes a better cheerleader, discover how to bounce balls to surprising heights. This show is appropriate for all ages and be prepared to have a ball. Weather permitting the show will coincide with daily water rocket demonstrations.

Cub Wednesday
Cubs, Brownies and Scouts from any pack will be given free entry to the Cape Town Science Centre on Wednesday 27 June, 4 & 11 July 2018 provided they come dressed in their Cub, Brownie or Scouts uniform.
