Coding is the new cool! Highly creative, collaborative and good fun. Has your child ever had an awesome idea for a video game but didn’t know how to bring it to life? Join the Cape Town Science Centre’s Let’s Code Holiday Club – we will explore both object orientate coding (Scratch) and text based coding (Python). The club will nurture their 21st Century skills as they go about enhancing their coding literacy. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire basic coding skills in a relaxed and creative environment – 12 hours of coding fun over a 4 day period and the opportunity to explore the rest of the Cape Town Science Centre’s offerings.

A bit about PYTHON
Python is one of the most universal coding languages which is freely available. It is able to solve a computer problem with as much ease as writing out a story, the only difference is the language that the story is told in. The universal nature of Python allows the code to run on almost any computer without any changes needed.
