Has your child ever had an awesome idea for a video game or app but didn’t know how to bring it to life? Then this camp is for them. Coding is the new cool! Highly creative, collaboration and good fun. Kids will learn the basics of Web Design using JavaScript and HTML. They will learn how to read and use JavaScript and how to build their own websites and so much more…

Join the Cape Town Science Centre’s Let’s Code programme – we will use the visual block programming software, Scratch, and nurture their 21st Century skills as they go about producing their game – imagine, explore, create! This is an excellent opportunity to acquire basic coding skills in a relaxed and creative environment – 15 hours of coding fun over a 5 day period and the opportunity to explore the rest of the Cape Town Science Centre’s offerings. Space is limited so please book ASAP. Participants are welcome to bring their own device (BYOD), but please alert us if you wish to do so to ensure we can successfully load the free Scratch programme onto your device.
