LAST MINUTE REVISION OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR GRADE 12 LIFE SCIENCE LEARNERS
A BOOST for learners preparing for their Life Sciences examinations – LIVE on Zoom! The CTSC recognises the challenges facing the performance of our Matric learners and will be running TWO one-day intensive LIFE SCIENCES WORKSHOPS focusing on content enrichment, practical demonstration on certain prescribed and recommended experiments, providing learners with strategies for approaching complex and difficult content areas, and revision of previous CAPS exam questions. This skills-based workshop is a combination of in-depth content review and exam preparation to better equip the learners to excel in the forthcoming exams. Each learner will receive an electronic copy of the comprehensive workshop booklet to use for further revision.
The workshop will showcase live dissections and dynamic demonstrations, providing context, clarity and real-life visualisation to the theory of the curriculum. Interpretation skills will be a key focus within the workshop, in particular interpreting diagrams, graphs, case studies etc. Review of exams questions and strategies for tackling difficult questions will be provided.
