When school’s out for summer, many children look forward to spending their days at the beach, surrounded by a loving family and often a mountain of presents under the tree. But many are not so lucky, and will be spending their summer in a home or shelter, where limited funds and unlimited goodwill will be spread thinly to make them feel special. Every child deserves a happy day this summer, and an inspirational visit to the Cape Town Science Centre will be just that.
