For much of history, the night sky has captivated the minds of human beings all over the world. From the Khoisan who told many stories about the stars, to the Polynesians who used the night sky to find their way across the ocean, all the way to Einstein who predicted the existence of black holes, our understanding of the night sky stems from our deeply rooted fascination with it. The study of the night sky belongs to a field of science called Astronomy and this will be the theme of our holiday programme!
Join us at the CTSC as we take a deeper look into Astronomy with fun-filled, hands-on workshops and captivating demonstrations, all of which aims to bring the field of astronomy to people of all ages and walks of life! Our programme will be accompanied by our intriguing Light Room and Camera Obscura tours, as well as our Edutaining Science Shows. Keeping with the theme of astronomy, we will be offering Planetarium Shows for all ages!
