Botany is a branch of biology that deals with the study of plants, including their structure, properties, and biochemical processes. Plants play a vital role in our lives as we get both oxygen and food from them through the process of photosynthesis. From 21 January – 25 February 2023, Saturdays at the Cape Town Science Centre will be dedicated to exploring the world of plants and learning more about the work of botanists, with hands-on workshops and interactive plant demonstrations.

OPENING HOURS*: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 – 16:30
*Kindly note that the CTSC is closed on Sundays.
