What is the course about? It’s a hands-on workshop that covers aspects of television production. Students are taken step by step through the sequence of making a broadcast quality video for The Cape town Science Centre. On completion of the course each student will receive a certificate and DVD copy of the video produced. Students will be assessed and mentored to determine what their strengths are and what career in the industry they are suited to.
Some modules to be covered in the course – production sequence, brainstorming concepts, drawing a storyboard, scriptwriting, budgeting a production, casting and acting, camera operation, video editing, audio & more.
