In celebration of Africa Code Week, the Cape Town Science Centre is offering FREE entry to the Science Centre on 21 October ONLY. This includes full access to all the hands-on exhibits for the entire day, Human Gyroscope and Centripetal Swing ride charged at R5 per 3 minutes. 

There is a jam-packed programme of activities and workshops focusing on coding. Activities on offer include Minecraft workshops, Scratch workshops, Python programming workshop, Binary Basics workshop, Hedy Lamarr show,  FUN Games and so on. Visitors will also be treated to our regular Camera Obscura tours, Planetarium shows, Science shows, and so much more…

*Please note that you should only bring laptops (No tablets, iPads). As much as we will try to load the Scratch software on your laptop, you are advised to ensure that it is compatible. Scratch works on Mac OS X, Mac OS 10.5 & older, Windows,  and Linux (32 bit).
